I have ordered from Amazon for years without a hitch. Until now. I ordered this lovely Garmin GPS for my husband, the box arrived, and it was . . . . empty! What do I do? Is there a phone number, or even address to contact the folks at Amazon? I’ve been through the help options, have tracked the packaga — yes it was delivered on the porch. Can anyone help me?

This is by far the worse of the garmin nuvi’s. Annoying controls and interface, the others however are top notch.

Beware–although this product is listed as being in stock; it isn’t. I bought it on Tuesday, and it still hasn’t been sent. I just spoke with an Amazon rep, and he said “there’s a problem in the supply chain,” which means it is NOT in stock. I used two-day shipping to get this gift to the recipient by Friday, and now I learn that it will get there on December 24, long after the recipient has gone on vacation. This is false advertising, and I resent having to call Amazon in order to find out what the problem is. Surely I was owned the courtesy of an explanatory email.

I started using this Garmin 260 Nuvi right after I received it and since I have not used any GPS before I got really confused that why in the world this thing is showing a destination path through the apartment complex???
It basically created a path that did not exist and I wonder what would have happened if I had followed the path?? Probabley would have damaged few homes and injured few ppl. In the course of finding the destination there was no voice suggesting any directions either. I really hope this is the only one of the kind as I really dont want any one to get injured.
Othrwise QA department from Garmin should be sent home.

This Garmin Nuvi works within the United States. Try Canada sometime-yes it does imply that you can enter a Canadian address, but don’t believe it! Plus they will charge you $70. 00 for a yearly map update when the competition will have very frequent updates and not, yes I said not, charge for them. Save a lot more money in the long run by buying one of the competitors’ GPS instead.
