Hi, I own altima coupe and i am really intrested in this model but dont know if this unit will fit in my 09 altima coupe and dont know where can i get a gps software from?
Hi Daniel,
In response to your first question this car DVD is GPS compatable, which means that it will work with GPS software but does not actually come with software. It should work with any GPS software for Australia.
In regards to your second question all I could recommend is looking at the products side by side on site and passing any technical questions you have onto our highly trained technical staff by emailing us at support @ chinavasion . com (without the spaces)
does the GPS system and all the rest of the item features work 100% in australia?
and also, in comparison with this (CVSET-A5401) and one like it on the website (CVGX-C14) which one is better in terms of GUI, features, most formats compatible and just all round which one’s a better product?

This comes with a standard 2DIN sized faceplate. I am not sure if a faceplate adapter for the passat is required, however you might like to check with your car owner’s manual.
I have a VW Passat. Do you sell the 2 DIN faceplate to adapt standard 2DIN to Passat hole?

Yes the TV tuner is analog and works with the NTSC frequency, It should work in Mexico.

This car DVD is GPS ready, this means that you are able to buy and install most types of GPS systems onto it.
If you have purchased the software which offers GPS navigation functions then it will give GPS navigation.
im considering of buying one of these, just need the final push.. i would really appreciate it if you could pass me on your views about this item,,,
and for the video owner- does the gps navigate the way or is it just a map?
